How shall I build my ARC input files?

It is critical to get the structure of input files right. Only then, the abnormal return calculator will function. The required structure is described on our instruction page and illustrated by our ARC sample files.

We strongly recommend opening these sample files using a text editor - this will show you the target structure, and variable formats (e.g., the date format or the need to use a dot as the decimal separator). Opening the files using spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel) is less recommended since these programs do interpret the data and may display for example the dates according to your country scheme.

In case you want to get your input files created, please use our input data file creation service.
